Welcome to picturepatron – my personal site sharing of my overland journeys!

I am Xiao Hui and I’ve recently started overland routes where I cross land borders either by foot or transport. My first overland trip was in 2019 and I am hoping to create more memories.

I am an ordinary Singaporean in my twenties who has always loved exploring Asia. I usually travel solo which has allowed for me to interact with countless strangers who have, through making and breaking my experiences, made my encounters extra memorable. 

I believe in learning and gaining perspectives by interacting with those whom we would have otherwise never met and my goal is to share stories nuggets of information that can hopefully help us in future adventures.
